Singapore's former anti-narcotics chief Ng Boon Gay said the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau had tried to pressure him into admitting to corruption. Mr Gay, 46, told the court that his lover Ms Cecilia Sue occasionally wanted to know whether he loved her and how much he loved her, and he would tell her they should not fall deeply in love because they were both married.

He acknowledged that there would be a perceived conflict of interest for both contracts, and admitted he should have removed himself from the procurement process for the second contract, on hindsight. He insisted that there was no break-up, as suggested by the prosecution, and disagreed with Ms Sue's oral testimony that they were just friends.
He said that the 10 occasions where Ms sue performed oral secks did not give a complete picture. Ng also told the court on Tuesday that Ms Cecilia Sue had asked him a few times how much he loved her on a scale of 1 to 10. The Story has taken a stunning turn when Ms Cecilia Sue Siew Nang has opened her mouth about her relation with the Ng Boon Gay.
She revealed that in 2010 she was pregnant and when she told him about her pregnancy and asked that what will he do if he would be the father of her child, Cecilia Sue said he just broke my heart and refused to take the responsibility of her pregnancy.
Mr Ng’s defence lawyer, Senior Counsel Tan Chee Meng, asked him if Sue ever mentioned divorcing her husband and Ng said she had asked if he would leave his wife. DPP Tan pointed out that Ms Sue had sent an email dated 13 May 2011 to Ng and both the acronym of Hitachi as well as the full name were included in the contents.
Ng said he only came to know the acronym and full name in May 2011. Under Section 6 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, those found guilty of corruption can be jailed up to five years, and/or fined up to $100,000 for each charge.
Ng's wife said in a statement to the media that she has never doubted his professional integrity and will continue to stand by him. Yap Yen Yen, previously voiced her support for him in a statement and said she never doubted his professional integrity.
