Saina Nehwal Wns Bronze Medal In London Plympics: A Photoganic Preview

Indian shuttler and history maker Saina Nehwal has won the bronze medal in Women's single Badminton match. This was really a good match and was going in the favor of her Chinese rival Wang Xin. Xin was leading by 10-5 in the first half of the match.

But, suddenly Saina came back in the game and tried hard to level the score and reached at 21-18. Unfortunately, Chinese player got some injury and she struggled to play but she could not even the play was abandoned following her injury.

After some treatement, Xin came back to play the game but she was feeling pain again and decided to retired from the game. Finally, Saina Nehwal won the bronze medal in London Olympics 2012.

Pakistan 2-0 Argentina: As It Happened In London Olympics Men's Hockey

The firstt half was really exciting and full of energy by both the teams but Pakistan was on the top. Muhammad scored a gorgeous goal on the plenty corner just minutes ago from the 1st half

First half was ended in the lead of 1-0 by green shirts. Pakistan looked really positive in this match same like they did against Spain.

Then the second half started with more excitement. Both the team started game very quickly and attacked again and again.

Then Pakistan got the penalty corner in the begenning of the second half. Finally, the magic of Sohail Abbas worked in this important match and he threw the ball in the net of Argentina and provided the lead of 2-0. What a goal it was and no doubt so powerful hit.

I will say one word for Angentina "Bad Luck". There were two or three chances of goals which were on the distance of finger tips. They got two penaltry corner in the second half also but it was a good defence by the Pakistani goal keeper.

Even Argentina also got another panelty corner just two minutes before the second half but all in vain and "bad luck" as I already said.

Sania Mirza and Leander Paes Vs. Ana Ivanovic and Nenad Zimonjic London Olympics 2012

Sania Mirza and Leander Paes of India will play their first match against Ana Ivanovic and Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia in the first round of the mixed doubles tennis at the London Olympics 2012.

So, there is a medal hope in tennis. Earlier, Sania Mirza and Rushmi Chakarvarthi were knocked out in the opening match of the first round in women’s doubles event.

On the other hand, India`s ace men`s doubles tennis pair of Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna have been also gone down today from the London Olympics 2012. They were beaten by Richard Gasquet and Julien Benneteau of France in the 2nd round.

The seventh seeded Indian pair were totally "disappointed" and they could not show any magic and now they are out from the Olympics. So, Paes, who had to pair with youngster Vishnu Vardhan, is still alive in the men's doubles and the mixed doubles.

Paes and Mirza are the last hope of Indian medal in tennis. The wife of Pakistani crickter Shoaib Malik, Ms Sania is partnering Paes at the Olympics despite winning two Grand Slam titles with Bhupathi - the Australian Open in 2009 and French Open in 2012. Returning to the Games after an 88-year absence, the mixed doubles tournament will see 16 pairs from 13 countries battle it out for gold.
