Princess of pop Annie Khalid broke many hearts yesterday when she got married to her fiancé, Malek Noureed Awan, owner of the MMA Group of companies UAE.
They were married on July 15, 2012 in Karachi. According to her manager Faisal Khan, the Nikkah took place on Sunday and the rest events are to be celebrated after the Holy month of Ramadan, a private news channel reported.
Annie entered the Pakistani music industry in 2005 with single “Mahiya” which became very popular. She went on to release two albums, titled “Princess” (2006) and “Kya Yehi Pyar Hai” (2010).
She became a household name and endorsed high profile brands, including Pepsi, Telenor and Tony & Guy, becoming the most popular female artist in Pakistan to date.
