Country star Taylor Swift is reportedly dating Harry Styles of 'One Direction' band just one month after ending her romance with Conor Kennedy. Both superstars, who have been seeing each other for a few weeks, stepped out in public for the first time at the American X Factor studio in Los Angeles.
Styles was on hand to watch Swift rehearse the debut of "State of Grace," which she performed later that night on the Fox reality show.
The FOX show's co-host Mario Lopez told his listeners, "Taylor Swift was the special guest performer, and [here's] a little inside scoop for you. During rehearsals, Harry from One Direction came and slapped me on the back, and said, 'Hey, Mario, how ya doing?' And I said, 'What are you doing here?' And he sort of [pointed] toward Taylor."
According to MTV, Swift and Styles met last spring at the Kids Choice Awards where they danced on band's song 'What makes you beautiful'. However, a planned date after the MTV Awards in LA was cancelled due to his travelling schedule.
Lopez revealed he later saw the stars "walking off hand in hand," adding, "So, Taylor Swift and Harry from One Direction - you heard it here first. (They're) officially hanging out, I can say that much." Harry and Taylor dated briefly earlier this year. But their fling ended in April when Harry was snapped kissing New Zealander Emma Ostilly.
According to the UK's SUN, Styles dated Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack, 33, before his first fling with Taylor — and bedded married DJ Lucy Horobin, also 33. He has also been linked to Aussie singer Natalie Imbruglia, 37, who he met in the summer at comic James Corden’s wedding.
HollywoodLife also reports that Taylor Swift was dancing with BFF Selena Gomez in the front row of the 2012 Kids’ Choice Awards, where One Direction performed. A source tells UsMagazine.com, "After she finished, he went up to the stage. They were joking and laughing. He picked her up and threw her over his shoulder and carried her off."
Recently, Taylor and Selena Gomez were seen at Hollywood eaterie, Osteria La Buca on Saturday night. Swift, who Gomez is likely to look up to - she's 22 so that important bit older and of course, hideously successful - is fresh from her split from Conor Kennedy, also 18.
