Gucci Spring-Summer 2013 Collection At Milan Fashion Week

After New York and London, it's Milan's turn to have a say as to how women will dress for the spring-summer 2013.

At the first blockbuster show of the Milan season, Gucci hit its stride from the off with a strong opening series of outfits in head-to-toe shocking pink, which for spring/summer 2013 the Italian fashion label is calling "sharp azalea".

Gucci has spent the best part of 20 years honing its archytype, art directing some of the most consistent advertising campaigns and catwalk shows in the world. There were more than 60 of Italy's top designers, including Gucci, Armani, Versace, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi and Ferragamo presented their take on next summer's well-dressed woman.

In 1998 Guinness World Records cited the Gucci "Genius Jeans" as the most expensive pair of jeans in existence. These jeans were distressed, ripped and covered with African beads and were offered for sale for US$3,134 in Milan.
