Cecilia Sue Siew Nang, the woman at the centre of the high-profile corruption trial involving a former top Singapore civil servant, made everyone surprised when she appeared in the court on Wednesday with her hair tied in a ponytail and dressed in black pants and suit.

The 46-year-old former Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) chief Ng Boon Gay is said to have had several trysts with Ms Cecilia Sue Siew Nang, a sales manager seeking government contracts for two information technology vendors here on separate occasions.

This is a trial involving consensual sex, not a rape trial. Hence, a gag order is unecessary. She should take the stand, similiar to the accused, and be exposed to media spotlight. During the cross-examination, Ong said Ms Sue was aware that in terms of potential business with CNB, there was nothing in the pipeline in the next three years.

Dozens of fishing boats and 12 coast guard ships from Taiwan briefly entered waters close to a disputed island chain in the East China Sea, Japan’s Coast Guard said on Tuesday. The Taiwanese fleet, which included fishing boats and armed coast guard vessels, entered the disputed waters on Tuesday, according to the Japanese coast guard.

The comments, from Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Zhijun to his Japanese counterpart, were quoted on the Chinese ministry website. Taiwan news agency CNA said that up to 100 fishing boats, escorted by 10 coast guard ships, were making the voyage to assert local fishermen’s rights to operate in the waters.

A Chinese court on Monday sentenced Wang Lijun to 15 years in prison and deprived him of his political rights for one year after finding him guilty of bending the law for selfish ends, defection, abuse of power and bribe-taking. The policeman’s flight in February to a US consulate led to the downfall of his ex-boss, top politician Bo Xilai.

The 52 year old could have faced execution as bribe-taking carries the death penalty in China, depending on the amount involved and the seriousness of the case. Wang was given a comparatively light sentence because he helped turn in a number of police accomplices, who received shorter sentences.

Wang could have received life imprisonment, or even a death sentence, and his sentence is regarded as relatively mild. Wang concealed from police the fact that Bogu Kailai had recounted her poisoning of Heywood to him, as well as he hid a recording of her recount.

Wang’s lawyer, Wang Yuncai, also told the Associated Press that the sentence was ”considered normal” under Chinese law. After a one-day trial in August, Gu was found guilty of poisoning British businessman Neil Heywood in a hotel room in Chongqing last November.

Wang sealed his fate at a trial a week ago by admitting the charges, according to an official account of the hearing published by Xinhua. Only official media outlets were allowed inside the courtroom. Now Heidi Agan has quit her waitressing job in Frankie & Benny’s to become a full-time copy Kate. She now charges up to £650 for public appearances as the future Queen. But despite donning identical dresses and copying Kate’s signature hairstyle, there is one thing Heidi will not be imitating – going top-less, The Daily Mirror quotes.

"People would come in and point at me and say, 'That's her!'" she told the Daily Mail. "I've had other people come up to me during jobs, convinced I'm Kate." She lives in Corby, Northamptonshire, with son Blake, 10, and daughter Abigail, and joined London-based agency Susan Scott Lookalikes in February after leaving her full-time waitressing job.

Heidi said the strangest request she has had yet is to play a game of Twister with lookalikes of Prince William and the Queen for a photoshoot. "I haven't been asked to go topless on any of the jobs yet - and I certainly wouldn't do it because I'm a mum-of-two!" she told The Mirror.

Heidi Agan further told the Daily Mail, “I’ve had other people come up to me during jobs convinced I’m Kate…When my daughter sees her in a magazine she points and says “there you are mummy’” She’s turned into a right little royalist.”

She said while talking about the leaked photos of Kate and Prince which are recently published by the the French magazine Closer, “I felt really bad for Kate when the photos were published as she was on a private trip with her husband… If someone had done that to me I would go to the police."

She continued, "She and William don’t get any time out and they were just trying to be a normal couple. It’s a terrible invasion of their privacy. I haven’t been asked to go topless on any of the jobs yet – and I certainly wouldn’t do it because I’m a mum-of-two!”

Heidi Klum Top-less Photos to Lead to Lawsuit Following Example of Kate Middleton

Heidi Klum is considering filing a lawsuit over top-less photos that were published of her - reportedly "comparing" her plight to that of Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton.

The "Project Runway" host, who recently admitted to dating her longtime bodyguard, is reportedly considering filing a lawsuit after top-less photos of her on vacation have surfaced online, according to the New York Daily News.

Meanwhile the US gossip website TMZ says Heidi is riled because her 'privacy was violated because she was on a private and secluded beach at the time the pics were taken'. Sources tell TMZ that Klum is likely to wait until the Kate Middleton top-less picture scandal is sorted out to determine whether or not she has a legal case to make.

TMZ reports that Heidi wants to sue but realises "she might have better luck if she waits for Kate to blaze the legal trail." The Prince William and Kate Middleton are heading home after having a Royal tour of Queen Elizabeth’s Golden Jubilee.

The couple has no time for rest and their first priority is to file a law suit against French Magazine “The Closer” for publishing her racy photo which was taken by the Photographer through a large lens when she was on the vacations in France with her husband Prince William.

Royal couple is quite confident about their case as France’s privacy laws shield media targets more than American or British laws do. Well, whether they will win the case or not it is unknown but they have already won the case in the public opinion voting.

Julien Macdonald Spring 2012 Collection at London Fashion Week

Welsh fashion designer Julien Macdonald presented his latest couture collection at London Fashion Week 2012.

The style choices of editors, bloggers, stylists and other members of the "fashion-famous" set are snapped by street style chroniclers as eagerly as paparazzi shoot celebrities. The video stream can be seen on London Fashion Week's website.

According to the British tabloid Daily Mail, London Fashion Week runs until Tuesday and will feature more than 100 catwalk shows, which are expected to generate orders in the region of £100 million and to contribute further millions to the London economy.

In summer 2012, London for the first time introduced Men's Collections, in addition to the collections shows in spring / summer and autumn / winter.  It is one of the "Big Four" fashion weeks, along with New York Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week.

Highlights are set to include Burberry and Mulberry, on Monday and Tuesday respectively, and Vivienne Westwood's presentation of her diffusion line Red Label on Sunday.
